It is Tuesday Night, meaning tomorrow is Nerdy Magazine Day! Or New Comic Book Day if you prefer. This week it will be Batman: The Dark Knight #1 for myself, and for the Nerdy, most likely an Archie comic book, unless a female DC back issue catches her eye. I am thinking about maybe grabbing The Flash #1 if there are any left, but we shall see, we shall see.

Here is the list of what is the final week of DC Comics The New 52, or at least their initial run, as I expect/hope to see titles such as or similar to Batman Incorporated and Gotham City Sirens, both of which ended to due to the relaunch, one of the only draw backs for me, other than that....bring it on!!!

  • All-Star Western #1
  • Aquaman #1
  • Batman: The Dark Knight #1
  • Blackhawks #1
  • The Flash #1
  • The Fury Of Firestorm #1
  • Green Lantern: New Guardians #1
  • I, Vampire #1
  • Justice League Dark #1
  • The Savage Hawkman #1
  • Superman #1
  • Teen Titans #1
  • Voodoo #1
If The Flash #1 isn't there, then maybe I will take a look at Superman #1, dunno though, I may also find a back issue that I need for incomplete series and/or story lines. Its how I roll aha

So, if you see anything on the list you think you would wanna read, go and do just that. If not, then still go and take a look around, never know what you may find. Even go to see if they sell t-shirts and flaunt your "nerdiness", I do, everyday, ev-er-y day ahaha And yes, a la Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang Theory, Friday is The Flash t-shirts aha

  1. Loving Red Lantern and my son loves the artwork in the ads for The Flash. I don't care what they do to Aquaman, he looks like he should be part of the Ambiguously Gay Duo. All I need now is a place to get Red Lantern merch cheap. Any ideas?

  2. The link that you shared for finding comic books also has several places/sites listed for merchandise, I would check there Chris. If there's nothing nearby that is. I will bring my 10 year old son with me next time. I think he'll like the place I went to for my comic book experience. :)

  3. @Chris, one of my stops today, the clerk was rocking a Red Lanterns t-shirt. I would either do the route SAHM said, or ask the clerk next time your in the store, or if you have a credit card, shop around online. I get most of my stuff from Wal-Mart actually. $12-15 Canadian is their price range on shirts. But, to go deeper ask the comic book store guy, they may be able to get stuff cheaper while ordering from their "source". I also saw an Atrocitus figure today also.
