Now typically dressing up is reserved for Halloween, either for Trick or Treating (I dress up when I take my Nerdy out), Parties or for Work/School. And traditional "cosplay" is reserved for events like Comic Con or Fan Expo. Now a days there are "themed" parties through out the year, Toga Parties, 80's Parties, etc, etc. People even have regular costume gatherings through out the year, having been to some myself. Once I dawned The Joker get-up, its all I ever wear now for these events, and I can see how peeps think of it as "repetitive", but I don't care, it's how I roll.

So, I was thinking of ways I could stay Mr. J yet keep it a little fresh. Why not combine the theme parties of today with cosplay? It could work for a majority of characters from different genres. Here's a list of idea's that pop into my head (while I write this actually) for different characters from different genres in accordance to the "parties" theme.

Toga Party

The Joker

• Face Paint style of choice with Green Hair.
• Purple Toga
• Purple Laural head piece

Zombie

• Usual Zombie look for face, add to arms, legs, etc
• Tattered, dirty and blood stained Toga
• Tattered, dirty and blood staind Laral head piece

Trekkie/Trekker

• Toga color according to Rank or however it's all decided (not a Trekker as you see)
• If not Human, add make-up for Klingon look, ears n  brows for Vulcan, etc
• Federation pin

Time Theme Party (80's, 90's, etc)

The Joker or any other comic book character, simply dress according to that era, as they have mostly all evolved over the years.

Zombie fans simply pick a "normal" style (80's Hair Metal Rocker, etc) and "Zombify".

Vampire fans could pick a Vamp movie character from that time period, or do the same thing as mentioned for Zombies.

I admit, I cannot think of any other themes at the moment. And it is obvious my brain is Joker driven, 'cause another example for him is if a costume party is in the summer, dawn the wardrobe the Clown Prince of Crime wore in The Killing Joke. Camera and all.

So, when your traditional parties get tiring, simply spice it up a bit Nerd Style.
